ACCELERATED EDUCATION ENTERPRISES AT THE EDUCATION INNOVATION SUMMIT 2017

IT News Africa recently hosted the annual EDUCATION INNOVATION SUMMIT in Johannesburg.This premier event is attended by education policy development representatives, principals, university chancellors, directors of education, curriculum development specialists, instructional designers, directors of learning & educational technology, district-level leaders, technology directors/technologists, special education instructors, CIOs of educational institutions, edutech entrepreneurs and solutions providers.

The summit addressed the role of technology in education and the requirements to transform education by extending the learning space beyond the four walls of a classroom.  Accelerated Education Enterprises (AEE) was delighted to have Director, Policy, Stakeholder and Government Relations, Mr Mandla Mthembu deliver a keynote presentation at the summit.  Mandla spoke about the work being done by AEE to deliver affordable and effective education throughout Africa.  Importantly Mandla unpacked the concept and benefits of a Personal System of Instruction (PSI) such as the A.C.E curriculum.  His presentation highlighted that fact that AEE embraces e-learning and technology through the exciting LearnCloud platform.
